New here, 70 C10 with spring questions

I lurked for a while but finally decided to sign up. I have a few questions but I will start with a basic one. Will getting new stock springs bring the back end up? It's sitting level which doesn't look right to me, it's just a rough old farm truck and will remain an old farm truck. I use it as such and gets pretty squatty with a load of fence posts etc.

I am pretty sure I can just order these (coil) springs at the local auto parts store correct? I'm not sure I want the super stiff ride of a C20 either, just stock or a little higher. Will get some taller tires when I can as well.

I haven't had a c10 in at least 25 years, finally got another one. This one is about as basic as you can get, inline 6, 3OTT, radio delete, worst brakes in the world.... Thanks in advance

Yes you can get new springs at the parts store. That will bring it up to factory height.
The brakes are pretty bad on those. You can get a power unit from a specialty supplier or salvage yard. Changing to disc brakes is the best.
That is a cool photo. They might want to use it on the home page.

Re: New here, 70 C10 with spring questions

Thanks guys.

I stopped by Advance tonight to get an oil change and they can order them for $126, I'll try and order them online to get their discount. Hopefully it will put it back to a more stock looking position instead of tired and sagging. Looks to be a lot easier than the front hopefully, I really hate putting springs on the front.
