Drop spindles for 64 C10 *Advise/help please*
I have a 64 C10 I've already done disc conversion with spindles from a 67-72. They have 1.25" rotors. With that being said I'm planning to order parts soon for winter project, I'm gonna order narrowed control arms from porterbuilt but need drop spindles I keep seeing them online for 63-70, 71-72 also what's the best brand? CPP? Belltech? I'm definitely wanting to go air ride and in the future I plan to buy drop member from porterbuilt to lay body but budget allows for a bit at a time.
Thanks for any help

The reason you see the different year splits is because the ball joints and tie rod ends are different between those year breaks. If you have a '64, order the '63-'70 one, to keep all of your factory parts.
As for brand, I have used the CPP Modular spindles on a couple trucks and love them. Sure they are only 2" drop versus the 2.5" of others but they don't space your wheels out like others, better clearance around the lower control arm if using 15" wheels and the nice part, you can upgrade the brake mounting bracket and use a large brake package setup if you ever want to. The others are limited to the stock 12" rotor and factory caliper unless you cut the ears off, drill and tap new mounting holes and such. The Modular spindles are already setup for a bolting on caliper bracket.

X2 on the CPP Modular spindles, that's what I have on mine. 63-70 used drum brakes and require a disc conversion and 71-72 had disc brakes so you just need the spindles. You say you have spindles from a 67-72 with stock disc brakes so I'm assuming you have spindles and brakes from a 71-72.

Can you post pics of your current a-arms and spindles.
You have to know what you have to order the correct spindles. They break down as follows,... 60-62 63-70 71-72 73-87
