Starter Issues, 79 c10

I have been having an issue with my starter bogging down, like really sluggish to start, i replaced the ignition switch, have a new 1000 cranking amp battery, brand new starter, and ive checked everything, i cant figure this out, has anyone else out there run into an issue like this?

Hows that positive battery cable and ignition switch wire look?

oh forgot, i replaced both positive and negative terminal wires, the ignition switch wire just needed a new end conector adn thats about it but still haveing the issue

hows your ground? anything past that bad starter? flywheel teeth missing?

i was going to check the grounds today might not be making good contact i suppose. no flywheel teeth missing, everything looks good.

check what voltage you are actually getting at the starter before you do anything else time to whip that multimeter out!

There has never been a case of a ground being too clean and tight. They are a free place to check.

Thanks , I got it figured out, the engine to cab ground strap was severed in half, idk how it was starting at all considering the engine is on rubber mounts, but i got a new ground strap and attached it engine to frame and the thing fires right up no issues! thanks guys!
