This is an american eagle radiator which they have specified for a 64 C10, they say this is the new design instead of the dog eared radiator, am i still going to be ok to fit this?

Any help would be great, thanks.

Re: radiator question

I recently replaced the narrow 6 cylinder radiator in my 64 with a Champion V8 size radiator. I bent up some 1/8" x 1.5" steel to make wider saddle brackets for the bottom. On the top, the factory style mount was kind of ugly with the new aluminum radiator, so I fabbed up some side mounts to replace it, as well as mount the electric fan and overflow canister.

If you are going from a 6 cylider radiator to a V8, be prpared for it to sit a good bit higher. My hood cleared it just fine though. No pictures at the moment since my truck is at a friend's shop swapping the speedometer hears in the transmission.

Re: radiator question

When your talking dog eared, you talking about the style I have? This one worked great for me.
