New to me shop - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Well, after watching all you guys with cool mancaves and shops on this section of the forum, I finally got a little shop of my own. I just moved into a new (to me) house and of course the main attraction for me was that it had a 1200 sq ft shop out back! Never mind the fact that I've pretty much finished my truck at this point, having a shop just gives me an excuse to build another truck, right?

It wasn't wired up when I moved in, so I had 200 amp service installed with some new lights, and of course I HAD to put in a new lift too

. It's a Rotary 'Revolution' 10k, 2 post. And since my '69 was way too low to make the ramp up to the shop (I damn near tore the mufflers off of it when I tried to pull it in), I had to get a slab poured to connect the driveway on the side of the house to the shop.

Of course I had to throw in a pic of the truck too!

Oh yeah, the shop doubles as the jam space for my band. Gotta have music to go along with the hot rods and beer, right?

Yeah, it was tough to let go of that little bundle of cabbage... The dang slab was more than the lift.

that's a nice set-up , plenty of room , boy the concrete pumpers got a reach , thanks for sharing

Install a lift so you don't have to carry those boxes up and down the steps.
