1970 C15 SBC Oil Pan
I am building a engine for my 1970 C15. I did not measure the clearance I had between my cross-member and oil pan before i pulled it. Can someone help me with what the clearance is. I want to order a 8qt pan with windage installed. Thanks in advance for any help or advice given.

Here is a bump for ya. I figured someone out there would know this.
You have a stock pan you can measure to compare how much more room you need? Or I remember I can measure one of my trucks tomorrow if you need.

Re: 1970 C15 SBC Oil Pan
i know a stock pan is 3.5 inches from the bottom of the front of the block down; then slopes down. The one I want to purchase is 4.5. I wish I had measured. Thanks for your reply
