Guys looking for some pics of the newer tooled Apex/Key parts doors. I am mainly wanting to see the inside bottom detailing and if they have the triangle in the front corners stamped in them for strength. Also, if anyone knows if they make suburban doors as well with the newer tooling. Thanks Trevor

I have a few pr at the shop, they do have the triangle in the lower ft corner as stock.

I'd like to see how "better" they fit as well

When were they "retooled " ? The ones I've seen in the last few months all have a different radius on the top rear curved section of the glass channel and when installed you can easily tell the difference from a stock door fit at the top corner where the door radius does not match the cab radius . I just see leak issues and short of cutting the glass channel from your old door and reusing it there's no easy fix .

It's been a little while, but it's not like suppliers went out and scrapped all the crappy old ones. We'll be seeing those sold till they are gone, so when they were bought doesn't say which stamping you are getting. We have to know the visual differences or we find out when we go to install.

I'm with Tim. I ordered 72 Suburban doors from LMC which were Tri-Plus doors dated 2003. I didn't know if Apex makes Suburban doors, but if not I'd buy the repop truck doors and put suburban frames on them. That's the main reason I asked. I heard the Apex doors fit pretty good and the weight it close to original. Trevor

Key Parts offers 67-71 and 72 only in the new tooled door for Trucks and Blazers but not Suburbans. Any of our dealers should be able to help you if you decide to swap out uppers. Thanks
