ignition lock replacement
I'm swapping tilt columns on an 81. The replacement column did not have a key. How do you remove the lock cylinder without the key. If I remember right the key needs to be in the accessory position to press the release to remove the cylinder.

Re: ignition lock replacement
To answer my own question after I tore into the columns. The lock cylinder is held in with a screw behind the lock plate. Remove the screw and the cylinder slides right out.
