We both win!!!

I helped a fellow board member find a 67 GMC to add to his collection. Member "passthebuck" is now on his way home to Winnipeg, driving a nice 67 Long fleet resto project . I wish him luck on his 8 hour drive. This truck is pretty solid with having an inline/3 speed combo and only has 56,000 original miles on it. I know if the pit boss would have allowed it, it would have been part of the dubie collection.

I went over to the owners house last night to help him get the box on it so Greg could pick it up today and he gave me something. For helping him sell his 67, he gave me his 72 GMC . It doesn't have much for good sheetmetal on it, but it will be a great donor for small crap.

So in the end, we both won!! Greg got himself a nice 67 GMC and I got myself a parts truck

Nothing wrong with getting a free truck and helping out others.

I think I am going to strip off whatever good parts it has, junk the rest and then transfer the box onto a 70 rolling chassis I have to make a utililty trailer. Then hang onto the 72 rolling chassis and try to cut it down into a shorty. If I screw it up, then I will strip the IFS and all the rear end parts off and sell them or give them away.
