68-71 bbc frame stands

Not sure what these bushings are. Figured they must go on the inside of the stand, but when I have researched this it seems nobody talks about these. Gm part number 3941744. Are these needed? I'm gonna use sbc motor mounts which people say you need a washer like a harmonic balancer washer to make it work, but it seems these make it so you don't need one.

Thanks,
Ryan

Are the square rubber blocks the ones that are the rear motor mount for a stick shift truck that goes to the bell housing?

Re: 68-71 bbc frame stands

Hmmm... Interesting. Trying to remember what mine looked like. I bought these frame stands from a board member a few years back and I received the stands, mounts, and these rubber blocks. So I assumed these were for the stands...

you are correct, that's the factory installation 68-71. everyone talks about using the sbc mounts to save money, which eliminates the small backing parts. i'm not an expert, but common sense would say either way will work but using the original rubber backing pieces would probably dampen vibration a bit better.
