6-lug 15x8 steelwheels with no "nubs" on the center?

I've got six 6-lug 15x8 steel wheels with riveted centers and no nubs on the center, and no clips for the earlier '50s-style center caps.

What years are these?
They look just like the ones in this link:

Just a Guess
Maybe 4x4 Blazer spare tire wheels? or military type 4x4

Re: 6-lug 15x8 steelwheels with no "nubs" on the center?

aftermarket wheels never meant to run hubcaps. Back in the day the look was black wheels with no hubcaps. The reason there are so many nice 4wd hubcaps out there is guys would pull them off right away. Otherwise there would be about none for us today. They just get beat up, add a step to removing lugs, and on 4wds they will pop off from mud or water pressure when gettin' down to it. I remember when it first hit me how cool it would look to play the tough 4wd look down by painting wheels white like factory and adding caps for a tougher factory looking truck. Up until '69, 4wds didn't even come with caps
