Can i lose bellhousing tranny mounts and run just rear mount? Three on da tree.

Does that trans have bosses for a rear mount? Not all do. IF it does have the capability to bolt a mount on the back then I would say yes. But the question that comes to mind is why are you trying to reinvent the wheel here that setup has worked properly for several decades. Not try to bust you out i'm sure you have your reason I just don't see it. Jim

My doors dont lock by key if i lock doors and close doors they unlock upon closing. If door is shut and i try to lock by key thumb lock moves down but not enough to lock doors. Any suggestions? Appreciated in advance!

Thanks, try pushing in on the door while turning the key. that helps sometimes. does the key lock it when the door is open ?

The doors were designed not to lock by pushing the knob down and shutting them, keeps you from locking the keys in the truck.

You should be able to lock them by either, with the key or pushing down the knob inside.

Sounds like you have some internal issues that need to be checked. Also check your door alignment as the catch and latch may need adjusted to get the door to lock. Try pushing up on the door and using the key.

Could you give a few pointers on how to adjust doors\latches dont know where to start . They are not bad had to push in very little to lock . Tnks!
