Somebody had a rotating strobe light or something on the roof at sometime...not factory.

If you where a cowboy and you came from Alberta or where a Texan or midwesterner you'd know exactly what those holes mounted.
Hint: It comes in 5 gallon or 10 gallon sizes. Hoss Cartwright had the 10 gallon one. |

Yup!!
One I saw had a huge triangle bracket to hold up the 10 galooon hat. Over engineered I guess. |
