T5 Transmissions

I have a 5 speed T5 from an 86 S10 with mechanical speedometer output and a 5 speed World Class T5 from an 88 firebird.

I had originally planned to use the tail housing of the S10 on the case of the firebird so I could use the world class transmission with the bench seat in my truck. Doing an LS swap so I don't need them now.

Looking for $300 on the S10 and $200 on the Firebird or $450 for both.

I am interested - what would it take to install in a 1970 C10 with a 260HP Crate Motor? Will be in Anderson on Sunday - need to visit boy in a group home.

If you were to do the swap as I had intended, meaning you swap the tail housings, all that would really be needed is to purchase a clutch for an 88 firebird. The trans will bolt to a SBC bell housing. Check out lugnutz65chevystepside. He has tons of information on here and online about the swap. I had planned to put mine behind the same crate motor
