shaved firewall questions
If I want to remove this bracket where the MC bolts to, what do I need to do to reinforce that area? |

On my 85, I took a piece of 10 gauge and scribe all the mounting points to the metal and then plug welded it to the inside of the firewall..

That sounds like a good idea. What did you do about the collar for the bottom of the steering column?

I used an aftermarket column and used a bulkhead from lokar. I would think you could re use the factory one if you get creative...
