tow hooks! tow hooks! tow hooks!

Those things are just plain "ugly"! Don't put those on a nice truck. Send them to me and I will put them on a bad truck. Yuk-yuk. There's $500 worth of those stupid tow hooks!!!

For a fraction of the price of TOW HOOKS, I have a membership in AAA with towing up to 100 miles!

Thumbs up

Thanks guys, they are expensive now, I had a set a year ago and sold them alot cheaper. The other day I seen these on the board so I decided it was time to get some for my trucks. The 72 now will have tilt, tach and hooks. If I could just talk Susie into buckets for it! Thanks Randy

mkmiller1 told me my hooks for my '68 are on the way! There is just something plain cool about having the originals. Now I just need a set for my '71 (hint, hint)!:p

Dumb question, but exactly why are they so expensive. Supply and demand says that for the price people pay, there have to be very few out there. Are they along the lines as the FM radio and cruise control for our trucks? Just not many alive anymore? Does anyone make aftermarket hooks that look like originals? Never researched it myself. Just wondering.

Dang Randy,

Look really nice. I like the fact that you treat both of your trucks the same. You wouldn't want to get a jealously thing going on, would ya?

There aren't that many, and the people who have them don't want to part with them. That's why they are expensive.

Your right David, the 67 would get jealous thats why I got it some.
Frank, I'd love to but the wife says no, since the baby is almost here got to have room for a car seat.
Kevin, You all come back now ya hear!! Susie is doing OK, ready for this to be over, me too! I sold a couple trucks so I decided to get some of these while they were out there. And before the $$$ went for diapers. I got your stuff sitting out there and waiting for ya. I finally got the sign up!!!
Thanks Randy

Do they make an alarm systen for those???

Considering what a person has to pay for a set of those these days.......Man, if I had a set of those I would be afraid to mount 'em on my truck.....if people will swipe $6 chrome exhaust tips and battery filler caps......seems like these would be ripe picking with just a couple of bolts between them and eBay...

I would mount mine in a bank vault.

I was thinking about that too. The 67 is inside but the 72 is outside BUT I got a BIG ugly Basset hound that barks when anybody is close to it!
