Re: Head light issue
Some weird issues there. I would think that it is either the headlight itself, the ground on the core support, or something to do with the dimmer switch/headlight switch.
Try disconnecting the left headlight to see if that fixes the bright indicator remaining on.

Re: Head light issue
start by cleaning up all the contacts on the headlight bulb to bright shiny metal to metal contact including the ground wires

Re: Head light issue
Mine had a similar issue when I got it. Right headlight low beam wouldn't work and indicator was on. Changed bulbs, same thing. It was dirty contacts at the right side connector and bad ground. I ceaned all contacts and installed headlight relays. Now my low beams are brighter than my high beams used to be.

Re: Head light issue
Bad contacts or the dimmer switch on the floor is shot.
A faulty dimmer switch can cause all kind of wonky headlight issues. Gary

Re: Head light issue
OK, super long shot here.
If in the low beam lamp the low beam filament melts and makes contact with the high beam filament, the low beam could light the dash indicator. Unplug from foot switch for a moment to check. Failing all of that, it'll be a simple manner of tracing power on the brown and light green wires. Brown is low beam. Light green is high beam. The indicator on the dash is power by, you guessed it, the light green wire. Unhook the headlights, then start tracing the power on the two wires and fine when/where it doesn't match with what it should be doing. I've never had a dimmer switch fail ever in any car, but someone will likely describe the symptoms of that, could also be a cause but not side to side.

Re: Head light issue
Always check your ground contacts for any type of lighting problem first .
