Bucket seat help
A good friend of mine just gave me some in really good shape 1967 Camaro bucket seats original with adjustable mounts. Is it possible to mount theses preferably bucket style for the the center seat, into a 1969 C10.
Thanks for any help. |

Re: Bucket seat help
They're a fair bit smaller seat; even for my mega-torso you'd be starting at the dash top, because the truck seats sit on pedestals too.
Do you have the truck pedestals? You could see if they bolt up to the bottom of the seat, then you'll know a great deal more.

No they won't fit ,Not even close ,You would be better off listing them on ebay and buying real buddy buckets with the $ you make from them .

Re: Bucket seat help
My PO put 2nd Gen Camaro/Firebird buckets in my '71 GMC Jimmy. They are mounted on 4 x 4 wooden blocks in back and 4" brackets in the front. Pretty funky set up. The foam in the seats is shot, but the suspension spring wiring was molded inside the cushion, so they're irrepairable. I don't recommend it, but I can share your pain.
