Clear coat opinions.

I am painting my outer grill today (1972) and around the headlights it is supposed to be a satin black (I believe). I bought Krylon and I have begun applying that just now. I also bought a can of Krylon Clear Acrylic Flat....would that be proper?

If so, how many coats of that and when should I apply it?

Re: Clear coat opinions.

Just follow the directions on the can and you'll get the best results

Also, why are you putting flat on top of satin?
