2 springs included in rear drop kit, track has 4

The drop kits I've looked at on come with two springs for the rear and the truck has 4 springs total, what gives?

Don't know which kits you are refering to, But rear drop kits only include the 2 rear springs. Front drop springs are not included unless you buy a complete kit...front & rear, that may include drop spindles (and or) front springs.

Re: 2 springs included in rear drop kit, track has 4

Im looking under my truck (1970 c10) and there are 4 springs in the rear, and 2 in the front. Im wondering why the lowering kits don't come with 4 springs for the rear. when lowering the rear do you only replace the big coffee can width springs, or do you replace all 4?

Re: 2 springs included in rear drop kit, track has 4

The front is a whole different issue, I wasn't gonna touch the front, just drop the rear to make the truck sit level, but looking at the truck it has a noticeable dip on the drivers front side, which make the passenger side rear sit up a little higher than normal, if thats not too confusing. SO, now I'm thinking the front must be so worn out its not sitting level (left to right) so I may do front and rear springs and shocks. But the question still stands, my truck has 4 springs in the back and the kits only come with 2?

These trucks only have:
1) two coils springs
Or
2) two leaf springs in the back.
Not 4 total springs.

Are you confusing overload leafs or spring over style helper shocks?
Pics would help a lot.

Plus you could look at all the build threads on here to see what you are suppose to have,...
