Higher Quality Turn Signal Switch
Working on a 1963 C60. The original turn signal switch was bad so I ordered a new one through Orange County Truck Parts (same parts as LMC, just cheaper). It worked great for about a month and then the self canceling cam broke. Now it has started to randomly make both rear lights flash.
Any where I can get a high quality turn signal switch? Thanks

Got a link? I see 1955 - 1962 and 1964 - 2002, but no '63. And '63 was a one-off switch.

The switch at Classic Parts for my 66 looks exactly the same as the one I got from the Truck and Car Shop. Worked fine for a bit then the contacts bent and started to flash constantly. I've taken apart and re-bent the contacts only to have them work inconsistently. The plastic parts on this are fine but the contacts are really cheap.
Does anyone have a real good quality turn signal switch that works? Thank you. Dan |

I had the same problems with the aftermarket parts. Buy a GM version.

From that list it looks like the expensive switch for a 63 is 53-507A. I think a C60 deserves a good one.
