Blazer back inside panels ?
Hi all , I own a 72 BLAZER & am wondering what would be the easiest way to fab up a pair of rear inside side panels ? Does any one hear have a templet available ? When I bought my truck they had no rear side panels , so I have nothing to go by . I have made a couple of attempts at making them , but I cant seem to get the inner fender shape correct . Also when I got it , it had truck doors on it with the window frame . I've been told its no problem to cut these off ? Any advise on best way to do this ? All help is welcomed ! THANK YOU !

Re: Blazer back inside panels ?
I've been thinking I should trace one on cardboard from a classic truck parts store that I've been to. I would consider upholstering marine plywood and install speakers. I did that to my boat---its not complicated and quite inexpensive

Re: Blazer back inside panels ?
You're having a problem making a template because you're trying to cut the complete shape all at once on one piece of card board. Make your template using 2-3" wide strips of stiff non-laminated cardboard like the stuff shoeboxes are made from. you can use short or long pieces along the perimeter of the box side, and glue or tape them together. Using this method you should be able to keep a tight tolerance to the actual shape of the truck.

Re: Blazer back inside panels ?
This is the link i have saved for when I do mine. There may be others on the site as well. If you go to the top of the page here to the gray and white google box, you can find just about anything you need to do has already been done by someone on the site. Just type in truck door to blazer door (or whatever you may be looking for) make sure you change the search button from "web" to "67-72 trucks.com" to get more relevant results, and it will give you quite a few hits. Hope this helps

Re: Blazer back inside panels ?
Take a little caution with these. I'm the one who drew them, but I never verified for certain the radius at the top corners of the wheel wells. That's my disclaimer. Although I would love to hear from anyone who used these with success (or where changes could be made.). I was planning on throwing them on a cnc router eventually.
