Spartan locker install headache!!
I've been trying to install a Spartan locker on my 12 bolt with factory 3.73 gears. I'm only able to get one of the c-clips back on. There's not enough space to slide the other one back on. I looked on youtube and seen that lockers for c-clip designs have a slot to slide them back in. Mine doesnt!!??
I was wondering if anybody has installed this brand of locker and if they had similar issues?

Re: Spartan locker install headache!!
Usually lunchbox lockers have to be assembled inside the diff. So you'd have your locker disassembled, your diff also gutted, then push the shaft in, put the end piece of the locker on, install the cyclic, push it back out, and continue to assemble from there.

Re: Spartan locker install headache!!
Got a hold of the vendor and found that it was packaged wrong. It is supposed to have a c-clip chanel that allows for c-clip installation. I received a locker for a non c-clip rear-end.

That sucks.... What if it was your only transportation? Hope you get it all sorted.

No, it's an on going project...I was just hoping to drive it these last couple of days since it looks like it might be the last of the good weather we have here in Texas
