Wind noise on driver side door
I have replaced the weatherstripping on the door, but it still has wind coming in after. It is in the to corner where the curved part of the door is. Any suggestions? Thanks

Re: Wind noise on driver side door
I found a crude fix for this. I did the dollar bill test to see where the weatherstripping wasn't contacting the door and then took a crescent wrench and bent the part that the weatherstripping glues to out. I did this to about a foot section and reattached the weatherstripping. I couldn't slide the dollar bill through it after that. I haven't test driven it yet though.

Re: Wind noise on driver side door
Are any of you running aftermarket doors ? the top rear radius of the doors don't match the cab very well and could be the source of your air leaks ?

Re: Wind noise on driver side door
I have tweaked the pinch weld it seems to help With sealing.
I also have in the past inserted rubber vac tubing in the void of the seal to help stiffin it up in some areas. Grump is rite on about new doors also. You can tweak the sill plates to hold the door seal better at the bottom. Any of my advise may come with a lil' slamming of the doors though. Also you can cut the seal lengthwise and use the adhesive to glue the bulbous part of the seal flat in an area. It's all about "fitting the seal".
