C30 67 longbed

Well, I don’t know about trolling for babes in this thing but would you believe? - My cruiser to Homeless Depot and tooling around town?
This is my 67 – C30 -6cyc long bed. You all have seen’ em before.

My father bought it new for his business and rarely used it. I drove this rig when I was 17!!!!…. (stop trying to count on your fingers! hahaha!!!)

It has 78K original miles and didn’t see rain (maybe a few sprinkles for 25 years.) “Plain Jane” as they came. All original (less: Who wanted to take out a loan for a set of 17 ˝” tires? So they went down to 16” with the safari rims.) It came through painted white and was repainted in 1987.
I got all the papers, original owner’s manual, the whole ten yards.

What are the two biggest lies in the world?
“The check is the mail”… and
“This thing has no rust!”
This thing has no rust! (surface rust … yes - cause it needs a good paint job and a few dings here and there to fix)
Serious, it is in great shape, runs like a top and I have tried very hard to keep up with it over the years. It ain’t a Vette but we have been around together for a long time!
( hope this attachment thing works)

I'm not sure if they called it a "longhorn"... but it's a 9 foot bed.

I have checked about the 9 foot beds, I didn't think they were that rare.......are they?

You are right it's not considered a Longhorn unless it's a fleetside bed. But it's the same WB and chassis basicly.

Ya... I'd say they are pretty rare. NICE TRUCK! Got any more pictures?

Hey I’m the new kid here........ I can't start breaking rules the first week .. I can! but.... haha

What does every (most) sys guys say?
"Who's loading up the server with all this crap...
I can't be backing up all this S*&^ up!!!!!"

Well thanks to all who checked out "The Silver Bullet"
Now I'm at an impasse to keep it stock and my life will be simple or start "doing up" the interior with some creature comforts.

Then there is that ever looming paint job.
Thanks again for nice comments and for looking.

Should I buy one of these ? 67 C30

I just came across a 67 c30 dually with a camper 48,ooo miles 283 4spd, all the paper work under $800. I need to do a little more investigating but another buyer is coming later tommorrow.
Any suggestions.
I'm wondering if the stepside beds for these are stil around or if a longhorn would fit. If I couldn't find a box ..flatbed??

Nothing like pressure hahhaa
I got the orginal owner's manual with all 67 truck wheelbases

I think it is 157" on the 9 foot ..... I trying to match my vin with the table. It's not a clear x ref
CE or CS310 -133'
CS or CE314 -157"

the C20 are shorter. PS30 & PS20 are based on GVW

maybe that can work for you?

check your messages

wheelbase

Can you throw a tape measure on yours. If it is a factory extended model.. No factory bed will work, only the flatbed. There is one of those on ebay.
