rear axle bearings

I'm getting ready to replace the axle bearings and seals in my 71 C10 rear end. Got the seals out ok but I'm stumped on the bearings. Does it take a special puller to get the bearing out?

Re: rear axle bearings

What he said ^^^^

Just did this and with these two parts, it took less than five minutes to pull both. Used a seal/bearing installer tool and took less than five minutes to install the new ones.

Re: rear axle bearings

Just finished the bearing removal and installation. My NAPA guy loaned me the slide hammer to remove, piece of cake! Got the new bearings installed just fine but managed to ruin one of the seals, got too aggressive with the hammer and install tool. Luckily the seal was only five bucks.
Thanks for your guidance fellas.
