Re: Fire extinguishers
Every classic vehicle I have owned has been worth/insured for more than what I have into it. I'd just let it burn and maybe buy it back off the insurance company to rebuild if certain components were still good.

Re: Fire extinguishers
I think I'm required to have it by Haggerty. Not that I'll have time to use it should I get a fire, but o don't want to give them any reason to haggle over the price.

Re: Fire extinguishers
I just have a small one right next to the drivers seat. I know its only going to put out small fires, but thats what insurance is for..... Plus its out of the way and the mount was very easy!

Re: Fire extinguishers
I just bought one for my truck the other day.
Back in the early 80's I had a fire in my 65. I used V8 Juice to put it out.

Re: Fire extinguishers
One I picked up at Menards. If I can save it, totally worth it. Once I move the gas tank, wanting to put a bigger one behind the seat.
