drop spindles

Hi, anyone use the Chasis Tech spindles? Do I have to change to the 73-87 ball joints? I have already replaced all the ball joints and tierod ends when I converted the truck to a 5 lug disc brake from a 71 front end.

Is there a drop spindle that will bolt up instead of changing the new parts.

your going to have people tell you not to use chassis tech, im one of them, i would say look at ece or any of the vendors on this sight and they will set you up with a qaulity spindle and everything else you need.

If you've already converted to a 71's suspension, I would look into either early classic or Mcgaughy's for your spindles. I have a Mcgaughy's 6 lug disc kit on my truck. I haven't had any problems with it. I bought mine from Tim Christian but, I know gmc paul's has the same kit.

I dont know about changing the ball joints over, but I had a set of Chassis Tech spindles for over 5 years with no problems whatsoever. There is nothing wrong with thier spindles, just customer service and shipping prices.

You can get Chassis Tech for about the same price with A LOT less shipping from Matt @ http://gauge-store.com
