I don't remember for sure. What have you done for the front spring hanger? You might get a better response if you ask a mod to move this to the "4x4 Tech & Offroading" section.

Re: 52" leaf Springs

Are you sure that those are 52" front springs? They sure do look like 47" Springs to me. Anyway, the shackle angle looks okay now, but when you load the frame with the motor and sheet metal it may be a little too much. You'll just have to wait and see. Oh, and you are correct, you need to flip the springs around. The double wrap part goes on the front hanger.

Re: 52" leaf Springs

They came with the 90 3/4 ton 8 lug front & rear axles I purchased Fronts measured 52" Rears measured 56" I moved them around and that flip hit the top of the hanger and would not line up to install the bolt. but the way I have them in the picture bolts right in.

Re: 52" leaf Springs

That's because early front hangers don't have enough clearance for the wrapped leaf. The way you have them now the end of the leaf is going to hit the bottom of the frame once you out weight on it and hit a bump. At least that's how it looks in the picture.

Re: 52" leaf Springs

Will the Earlier leaf springs fit the perches on the 90 axle, or should I change the front hangers with 88-91 front hangers. Thanks for suggestions.
