What's the next option to collect?

My truck was highly optioned, and I've added a few others. The basics are below. After the line is stuff I've added, and the * indicates stuff I have ready but not on the truck.

Big block
AC
Buckets
Gauges
Dual Batteries, HD Battery
Tinted Glass
---
Tilt
Tach
Speed Warning
AM/FM Radio
* GM Air shocks
* Rear slider

What else belongs on a highly optioned family Camper Special? A manual throttle might be nice, but there's really no point to it.

I've decided that for now cruise is too messy under the hood, just too many boxes and cables and chains and so on. But I do have most of a setup.

Is there anything that jumps out as you as "Well, if you have all of that, you really need X" on there?

Re: What's the next option to collect?

I have retractable (aftermarket) blue 3-point belts just for safety, as I have to drive it on the highway, so the bolt holes are already used unfortunately, but great idea! Keep them coming!

Re: What's the next option to collect?

Just picked up an NOS Delco PleasureLift PowerPak to run the big red GM NOS Air shocks.

Maybe my next project should be to restore a big period-correct 15' slide-in camper as the ultimate Custom Camper option :-)

A half ton truck is not complete w/out factory cab roof lights!!! And for the purists out there, of which I am one, am still looking for the RPO code for multiple color body panels!!!

LOL! I have a blazer that looks worst than that. My brother wrote on the spid: rdnk (for red neck) and wt01 ( for white trash)

70cst, those are awesome! How/where do you find such cool stuff?

Davepl: trailer brakes?

Re: What's the next option to collect?

Acorn,

The doors have gone green since purchase....... Someone had a thread a while ago about how many different colors they had on their trucks.

And as far as this truck is concerned, it has several of the options mentioned above; PS and PB, big block, AC, buckets, posi, tach, sway bar and the roof lights. Makes me wonder, though, why the person who was checking all the blocks on the order sheet, didn't check tilt wheel. Pls correct if I'm wrong, but tilt was available in 1970, wasn't it?

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
