Fleetside bumper on stepside?

Has anybody done this? Cut down the fleetside bumper to the correct width and put it on a stepside? I was thinking of doing this, but I'm not sure if it would look good. Maybe someone could post a pic if they have done this, or maybe Photoshop one? TIA

The fleetside bumpers are too long. I would think that it would be a real leg grabber on the way buy. I think a realy great look is the el camino rear bumper. It has to be narrowed to fit right, but the end result looks great... Here is a picture of one one of my customers conversions. Beutifly done.

It's a catastrophic success.

I cut the license plate part out of a 68 impala bumper and narrowed it down.It was a two piece bumper to start with, so I just used that chrome C edging for like doors to cover the cut.
This was before zr1 roll pans were even heard of.LOL

My plan was to cut down the fleetside bumper to fit. Maybe, I'll try Photoshopping tonight if I have time.

I believe it is the same as the stepside bumper 73 to 80 something . Should be easy to find.
