Hi I'm 16 and this is my first post. I am restoring my dads 1970 k20 that he bought used in 74. I restored this truck from ground up and I am working on the body right now. I will be post regularly on the thread on any progress. Please feel free to ask any questions or and comments. Thanks, Dylan

I just wondered about your location as there is a Goshen Valley community near me and thought you might be close by.

Well after many hour the cab of the k20 is completely done with body work. It needs a little red led and primer and then ready for paint. Next is to fit body panels and figure out the dang cab lights. I got the holes drilled and the lights in the right spot but I am confused were the lead wire from the harness goes to to the roof. Not the k20 but I changed the oil and new antifreeze in the all original c10. Looks pretty good even with a black eye.

Got new doors from LMC. Had to cut the drivers side so it would have nice gap on all sides. Now for fenders. Oh and i got the cab lights and the wires ran.

That looks real nice Dylan, my dad and I are doing a 66 k20 down in Clinton ct. He would like to know what kind of cab lights you are using. And we are going to guess that you are going to paint it red? Thanks Evan 396

Thanks Evan! They are the 5 lights amber kit from lmc. They were a dealer add on back in the late 60's early 70's. Nice to see another member from CT.

I see you still have a gas tank hole in the cab you leaving the tank there or have you considered relocating in the frame to the back? not a real expensive mod been done alot

Thanks I am leaving the gas tank there as I think it gives these trucks character.
