Got hit by a friggin semi.

Damage isn't too bad, the guy made a left turn into me. It was pretty low speed, I almost got by, this sucks I'm only driving the truck today cause I let a friend borrow my daily driver. I just tuned her up and she's been running great!

It was quite a little jolt but I'm amazed it's just the fender, everything else seems to be in order. Anyway, I'm pretty happy with how it held up. Time to look into getting it fixed, I imagine I could just buy a fender and bolt it right up. The body is pretty straight otherwise so I'd like to keep it mostly looking nice from far away! Any tips on Denver shops that I could take it to for an estimate? Thanks!

Just think if you were in a ricer truck, you would be a smudge on the road

From the title I was expecting much worse ,any bodyshop should be able to give you an estimate . Glad you were not hurt and the truck is repairable .

Re: Got hit by a friggin semi.

That is not much more than a Walmart door ding. Glad you weren't hurt. Well maybe except your feelings. I would take off that fender, lay it on the ground and first tap on it a little to see if the fender will pop back some into place then hammer and dolly a LOT of that damage out. Once you get it real close then you can take a stud gun to weld on some studs to put a dent puller on and move the rest of the metal back into place. It shouldn't take a lot of filler to fix that fender. If your good and flexible[I'm not] that is why I said to remove it, you could probably get by with just taking off the wheel and putting a jack stand under the rear end. That would save a good bit of time by not having to take off the fender. If your gonna replace it anyway you could try that. But like I said I would do it before ordering a new one.

I was imagining a flattened truck... That's bad, but looks like fender only, hopefully? What a bummer. Sorry to hear.

Re: Got hit by a friggin semi.

From a picture perspective it looks repairable to me without replacement

Glad your ok, In my state I have 6 years to go after unseen or hidden damages.

Don't let em off the hook to early, you could have massive rear end issues.
