my high school truck

[gmc sleeper]

i picked this truck up a few years ago. when i got it the body was really straight other then a few rust spots in the cab. its been in the valley i live in for over 30 years it went to through many hands its been rolled 2 different times. the frame is a 86 the body is a 79. a week after i got the truck my brother and it started to fixed odds and ends. turned out that the wiring was hooked up wrong in a few spots but no big deal tell we plugged in a fuse to make the dome light work and almost caught the truck fire. so we ended up rewiring half the truck. got everything but the ac working. it was 50 shades of gray for a while http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1450839612 so i drove the truck while fixing it up over the years. i made it one color for the time being i ended up breaking the front axle so ended up doing a axle swap from 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton i put a dana 44 up front and a corporate 14 in the rear with 410 gears. the truck is getting there slowly but surly. a bout three years ago i was out playing in the mountains and backed into a tree and destroyed the left side of the bed to were the tailgate wouldn't even open. i had a spare bed laying a round off a 83 chevy that i put on it.http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1450840436http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1450840663 so after i got the bed put on the truck my wife wanted me to paint the truck haha so after a month or so wondering what i was going to paint it i came up with two colors cat yellow and john deere green.
