1972 c10 paint colors question

I'm looking to pick up a 1972 c10 long box next week. I've been looking and waiting for years now but finally ready to pull the trigger of this one checks out. I would eventually chop it down to a short box
I've painted Painted a few trucks in the past and confident I can make this project my best yet
I want the finish project to look like the picture attached.
I believe it's hugger orange 524 but not sure. Also what is the paint code and name for the white. I'm also considering the red/white in pic below
Post pics of your truck is its in either of these color scheme and paint codes please.
Thank you!

I did see that chip selection before but thanks. I guess it's tough to tell which trucks I see online are hugger orange 524 and which are orange 516.
I'd be interested to see any picks of members with 516 orange and white and 524 hugger orange and white.
Thanks. RRM

Re: 1972 c10 paint colors question

My 72 Blazer is 524 orange. I also refer to it as Hugger Orange. However, I don't think it was ever called that on the trucks in 71 or 72. I think it was called Hugger orange on the earlier years. I know it was called that on the Camaros. My spid label actually calls it Red Orange.

Re: 1972 c10 paint colors question

If any members can post pics of their truck in orange and hugger orange. Or even the red and white that would be really helpful. Please add the paint name and code if you know it.
Thanks!!!!

Just be sure to do a spray out of the color you want before buying it to be sure you like what you've decided on. Computer screens and digital cameras like playing tricks on us when it comes to color selection.

Here's Omaha Orange and Bombay Ivory. (Not mine)
