Cant get 1 shock to fit in rear help

Hello all, I am building a 1978 GMC shorty just working on rear I did a belltech flip and calmax traction bars. I was going to install the shocks and the drivers side rear will fit if I collapse it a bit but the passenger side fully extended is like 3 inches to short. this is with the suspension jacked all the way up. I'm at a loss do I have the wrong shocks I purchased a set of dmj 1409 and a set of dmj 2200. and I assume the 1409 are for the rear because the 2200 seem to long. Doing a 3 inch on the front with a dmj lower a arm drop. Please help.
