Got another Revel '65 2n1 kit

My folks put one of these in my Xmas stocking this year. Looking forward to doing a really accurate repro of my '66. Need to find some big drag wheels for the rear, and a truck LS motor for under the hood (anyone know where to find unique individual parts like that>?)

I actually already have one, but i built that into my 1;24 bodied RC truck. I only build models of my own vehicles since I'm an ego maniac ahaha. ) bad pics

And this isn't strictly for model making, but the wife also tossed in this UV cured glue kit thingy. Never tried one, but its kinda cool. UV LED and some special glue.

Re: Got another Revel '65 2n1 kit

I'm not up on what aftermarket parts are sold, but I always kit bashed for desired features/parts. It drives the cost up,especially if you are only doing the one model using one item. There are lots of dragster or kits with drag version out there. The motor would be found in a late model kit. Are there any truck kits that new? Corvette or Camaro?

Re: Got another Revel '65 2n1 kit

Tell ya the truth I have no idea. Its been 10+ years since I built a model (Aside from that quicky body for the RC truck). I had a bunch of lowriders etc back in the day, there used to be places that actually sold specialty parts like that, but as hobby stores dried up, I've got no clue.
