New U bolts
front axle u-bolts--anything on the threads? No lock washers so?

I used flat washers and nylon lock nuts. That was what came with the new set of U-bolts on my lift when I bought it. Originally had flat washers and standard nuts.

Nothing on the threads and they should have the tall ubolts nuts and flat washer or something better. Use appropriate torque and they will stretch and stay tight.

Ny-locs not really necessary. If you use a standard u-bolt the threads should be rolled, the hi-nut will be a cut thread, grade 8 flat washer under the nut. Light oil on the threads and torqued properly and re-torqued after some miles.
