supercharged or turbocharged chevy straight 6?

Alright guys I'm new on here and was wondering if anybody had tried putting a supercharger on a 230 or 250 inline 6? I've seen lots with turbochargers and I thought that was a cool way to go, but I don't know where to get all the parts. I don't mind spending the money as long as it's worth it, but i don't want to go too crazy. Just trying to make something that will keep up with all the V8s out there, while still being something cool and different that not everyone has. Basically which do y'all think will get me the most horsepower?

Oh by the way, this is my daily driver so I don't need a ridiculous amount of horsepower. Anything over about 300 horsepower would be great since I'm getting by with the measly like 125 it puts out right now.
