While there is not a single feature about this truck that appeals to me (except the exhaust note), I CERTAINLY appreciate the workmanship that went into it. Awesome build. thanks for sharing.

i like it for the custom work on it, probably a pro build and priced accordingly
vanguard is in the same industrial complex as our shop, they sell a lot of cars and trucks
they have a lot of over priced classics and muscle cars, but i think most classics are over priced...

never understood chopping a truck, but then i'm 6'4'' and barely fit in my un-chopped truk

It's nice and I can definitely appreciate the work that went into building it.

One little thing stuck out that he said in that how you can buy this truck and take it to shows and win trophy's all day long. Why would anyone have any interest in showing a car competitively that they had no part in building.

i wasn't trying to 'trash' a build per se, just making some off the cuff observations of modifications made to the truck, as somebody who is building 2 of these with my own (and my son's) hands.

maybe the new owner will see my post and have his to do list already typed up for him to send to whomever gets his hands dirty on the owner's behalf?

again, i'm not trying to be a dick, but i agree the following sentiment, seems like a gold chainer truck...

Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I know that some dont agree with what I done to my truck but I dont care. I like it. I know that the custom guys and restoration guys dont always see eye to eye. That's OK. I am a custom guy but sure appreciate a great restoration. I do always appreciate the work and craftsmanship that goes into any of these trucks regardless if I agree with the styling. I can look at that truck and see an enormous amount of time and money that went into it. Like I mentioned before, the belly pans are amazing.

Here is a picture of an Impala on a rotisserie. You are looking at the bottom of the car. I certainly would not do this but I sure know that someone spent a lot of time on it, and I appreciate it. Can you imagine what went into this? Most likely a low rider. They always have incredible paint.

i love low riders for the amount of detail alone. like rolling works of art...usually some of the best paint around is on the lo-lo's.

mods just for the sake of modifying, instead of to suit a purpose while taking into account form and function, remind me of some of the modded honda's you see today's youth running around in. like they are trying to score show points for number mods, not trying to blend the form and function into one beautiful, functional piece of drive-able art.
