My Truck Gets Older Tonight.
It's weird thinking that back when I had this truck is the early 80's we considered it a classic, and yet it was only about 18 years old.

I never thought about that before.

Re: My Truck Gets Older Tonight.
My 65 Suburban has been in our family for 40 years this year. I think it's funny seeing 80's model cars and trucks with Historic Vehicle plates ob them here in Arizona.. Just aint right!
Happy New Year everyone |

Re: My Truck Gets Older Tonight.
Lets see, as best I can tell my truck was assembled in January 1960, so she is 56 years old. HOWEVER, will all the new stuff on her, she's less than 4

Re: My Truck Gets Older Tonight.
A car friends of mine were discussing this a couple weeks back. We considered these trucks as classics clear back when they were only 18 years old.
If fact, even the 70's were still years of certain 'Classics'. But somewhere around the late 70's early 80's classics were no longer built. An 80's Accord is 30+ years old, and it has nothing on the vehicles that were only 15 years old in the 80's.

Re: My Truck Gets Older Tonight.
If mine makes it 2 more days it will be 52 years old. My Grandfather purchased it January 4, 1964 for the sum of $1841. It has been in the family since. I am the third owner and I has a grandson that is 2 that I hope will be the fifth.
