Beauty on EBay
I found this on EBay this morning and to me they do not get much better than this truck. The seller is asking all the money and I hope he gets it as I would pay it if I had that kind of cash to spend on truck.

Re: Beauty on EBay
I saw that one, it is sweet! Expensive though. I like how you can tell the mentioned carport it was stored in for 29 years had the tailgate facing south... it's super faded out from that southern, high-altitude desert sun.

He's really got something there! I've had quite a few "carport finds". Woodgrain all burnt off mouldings on one side, most likely the western for long hot late day sun or south. That's how my '72 K2500 is

You have to notice he hasn't
done mechanical repairs or had it detailed, buffed a patina look on to it , it's pretty much the way it was found and he's leaving those decisions to the new buyer . Sometimes if your just reselling it's best to leave them as they are . |

Re: Beauty on EBay
That is an amazing truck, almost to perfect to drive really. I'd change that tailgate band and drive it just how it is
The saddle with the hugger looks great.

Re: Beauty on EBay
I think about 20 hours of detailing would make a huge difference underhood. There's nothing nostalgic about NOS dirt. Don't repaint things, maybe, but clean, clean, clean...
If it were mine I'd replace the horn button, a few things like that maybe, but he's wise not to change much until it's sold.
