hot tip

It is around 33 degrees here lately (Scottsdale AZ) and it was a fight just to get my 57 in gear. (Doug Nash 4+3)
I read something on another forum, and the guy switched to synthetic gear oil in his trans.
So I drained my trans and refilled it with synthetic gear oil.
What a difference!!!
it was 34 degrees yesterday, and it went right in reverse, no fighting the linkage.
First gear, same thing! then through the gears............easy as pie.
So I know it is double the price of gear oil in synthetic, but we are talking a quart and a half. an absolute 100% improvement for less than $25.

Just thought I would pass it on.
