Differences between 2WD and 4WD clutch linkage?

Is there a difference between the two? I have not been able to find a listing specific for either with exception of the engine side ball

Ive found two repro bell cranks, one for V8 and a shorter one for V6. Here is the V8 one

anyone know what the difference is on the engine side stud between 2wd and 4wd? Is there a bracket or something for the 4WD unit?

Is there also a difference between years? 67-68, 69-72?

A bit of help I can give is the GM pn# for the engine side ball stud.
GM #6261872 If you type in " 4wd engine side ball stud" it will bring up a thread I had when I sold mine after switching to a np205/350th set up. As I recall I ordered it from the local GM dealer who had it shipped in from the St. Louis location. Seems as if the 4WD engine ball stud was longer if I recall, don't remember for sure. Hope that helps.

I don't know if 2wd and 4wd use different z-bars. As far as the clutch ball, on the 2wd's with a V8, the clutch ball mounts to a plate that bolts to both clutch ball holes on the block. This positions the clutch ball in between the two holes. From what I remember, I don't think that the clutch ball is removable from this plate. It seems like it is mushroomed over on the back side, kinda like a rivet. You never know, some years might have a removable one. All the 4wd's that I have seen have the clutch ball that threads in. The one that you have a link to, in your other thread, looks to be the right one.
