Picked up a Hickey equipped GMC Jimmy. Where to buy weatherstripping?
I just picked up a really cool 78 GMC Jimmy from the high desert in CA. It is actually rough but has tons of cool Hickey and Con ferr accessories. My plan is to leave the body as is and restore the drivetrain and interior since it has such a cool patina. I want to have something that is cool to drive that is reliable and nice inside that I don't have to worry about dings and scratches. Rattling windows and wind leaks are a pet peeve of mine. I normally mess with trucks and picked up mostly NOS seals for my 77 crew cab. This is the first K5 I have owned. I know Precision parts seals are good from what I have heard. Do they have all of the Blazer seals?

Shoot a message to captkaos, he sells them and will know if there are any seals they don't make. Cool truck BTW and love the plan.

Thanks! New to owner the Blazers and Jimmys. I have been around a lot of them but never had a reason to need to source restoration parts.

Cool truck. Looks like it had bolt on fender flares at one point...

Good eye. That reminds me of the guy that polished the paint on his maroon late-70's pickup six or eight months ago, turned out really great. Might could make this Blazer look like a 70's magazine cover truck with some buffing.

Thanks It did have flares. They were the Hickey ones. I have a set of NOS flares but I just don't know if I have the heart to use them on this. I can't see putting the only set of NOS Hickey flares around on a truck that isn't being restored. I will just see how things go on it. It actually had the Hickey roof rack as well which I will be putting back on it. This truck was loaded with 70's accessories.
