Question On Notches for Bed Wood

OK guys, I need the measurements for the notches that are cut into the two short boards that fit into the bedside corners (fleet side).

Or, are these cut-to-fit for each bed?

Thanks, POP

Re: Question On Notches for Bed Wood

I would cut to fit, I cut enough out the boards to clear the tires, installed & marked ,then cut. Why screw it up by using someone else's specs? I would also leave the center two boards till the rest are installed in case you need to adjust their width.

lol didn't look at pic.

Those I measured to fit but removed as little material as possible on the first cut and installed and adjusted as necessary by removing a little each time.

If memory serves it was approximately 2" square.
