How wide of tire/wheel can i get under a 54 factory frame tubbed truck?

I am wanting to do a static drop on my 54 chevy and retain the factory frame. However I am wanting a pretty wide rear wheel/tire combination with a deep dished wheel in 18" possibly 20". I see the look I am after quite a bit with trucks that have had the S10 swap but I cant seem to find any information or pictures of factory framed trucks like I like. Below are a few pics of trucks I like the look of.

When I had my '54 I had 10" wide rear wheels with 275/60/15 tires. Stock frame, 3" mini tubs. Very tight but no rubbing.

I like all the pics that you've shown. What makes the difference in the look you want is the back spacing of the wheel. Size of rear axle WMS to WMS, and if you want to run tubs or not.

Here is a pic of mine. It has a 60" wide rear axle. Wheels are a 17" X8" with a 3-1/2" back spacing. Tires are a 235/55/17. This isn't very wide but fits between the bed and fender with no rubbing. I have no tubs in my bed.

What you first want to do is measure the distance from the bedside to the frame rail to see what width of tubs you can put in it without cutting the frame.

If that isn't enough it wouldn't be all that difficult to take the bed off, take the rear crossmember and notch the frame rails between where the second bed mount bracket and the old shock mounts went and pull the rails in until they were parallel from there to the back. You would either have to cut the ends off the crossember or make a new crossmeber and then add some brackets on the outside of the rails for the bed bolts to go through but it would be a simple operation if you needed that much room. It looks like you might be able to run 3 or 4 inch tubs and keep the rails as is though.

The bed is 50 inches wide and the frame at the back side of the tire is a little over 44 inches.
