Talking Re: Finally a c-10 RC!!!

I started building this one several years ago. Never finished it though. Clear body and you can still buy the bodies I think.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

This is based on a 4x4 slash chassis, you have to parts to make it lower and fit the body.

Re: Finally a c-10 RC!!!

That's cool.....don't get me started back in that hobby....I would spend way to much money. Did the remote dirt track racing with my son many years ago...it was a blast.

Re: Finally a c-10 RC!!!

I just got back into the hobby with my 4 year old. We both got HPI Wheely Kings and I wanted a different body for mine. I wanted the '72 C10 but he insisted on the 2015 Silverado. So we got the Silverado and painted it up like his Pappy's 2015 Silverado. Came out nice.

Well dang! Guess I'll have to save up because that's a sweet C10. They also have a nice looking off road 86 K5 among other cool models.

R/C is almost as expensive as the real deal. Especially if you go nitro. It's a blast tho no doubt, I've been at it for close to 15 years now.

That's a cool revo you've got there! Here's my maxx. For those in the know, it is a 2004 T-maxx 2.5 that has been big block, small block, 4x4, 2x4 and everthing in between. Currently it as you can see in the pics is engine-less. Blew the last 3.3 up and haven't gotten around to putting another one in it yet. I painted both bodies when I was in my "flames stage" at least 10 years ago at 16 or 17

I have one of the K5 Blazer kits, they make so many cool little items for these 1/10 scale trucks. Check out the working Warn winch, old school white spoke wheels, Super Swamper Irok tires, and Warn locking hubs

Re: Finally a c-10 RC!!!

I had painted dozens of the Proform C10's. They fit the Savage's & Revo's.

That new body is more to scale and is for the 10th scale cars. The Proform bodies were more for the 8th scale trucks and looked kind of like a bobtail because they didn't make the rear of the bed long enough. Anyways, here's some I painted years ago.
