WTB 8' fleetside bed close to NC

I'm looking for an 8' fleetside bed for my 71. I was sitting in a parking lot Wednesday when I was rear ended at probably 60 mph. Some woman jumped the curb and took out a pole and rolled sideways into me. Punted me like a football. My bed is pretty much junk unless I want to replace the floor, left panel and everything tailgate related. I have upper and lower moldings so if it has them it's a plus. I also need a good drivers door. Let me know what you have. I'd like it to be within a day's drive of eastern NC.

I have a 67 longbed parts truck with a useable fleet bed in Charlotte.

Littletony. Let me know what you have.

Frednoah, I think I'd hate to cut up a nice 67 bed by adding marker lamps.

I have looked at that ad a few times. Once I get some cash in hand, if the bed is still there, I'll probably go get it. I like the gas filler in the side. It's a good time to relocate the gas tank. The insurance adjuster is coming Tuesday.

Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. One of my doors has cracks that have been repaired at the upper hing area. The other door has a hole in it for a 6x9 speaker. They both have a little rust in on the bottom. Let me know if you want pictures of them and I will try to get them for you if it ever stops raining here.

Yes and no... I bought at 72 C10 that I'm going to fix instead. The bed on it is rough too (one side about the wheel is full of bondo). A friend of mine has a 69 C20 he told me I could buy the bed off of. I haven't gone over there and pulled it yet. The 72 truck has a 71 and older drivers door, so I what I need now is a good or repairable 72 drivers door. The ins co totaled my truck so instead of fixing it, I'll use it for parts or sell it. Haven't decided exactly what I'm gonna do. Too many choices and to few dollars!

Re: WTB 8' fleetside bed close to NC

Trust me I understand, my money tree isn't producing the way it should either. I asked because my project is taking a turn and I will not need my bed. I am going to put a flat bed on mine now so I can use it around the farm.

If you still have my contact info, send me some pic and a price. I may do better dealing with you than my friend. He's usually rather proud of his parts

Re: WTB 8' fleetside bed close to NC

Guys, thanks for all the help. I picked up my bed today for the 71. Nice and straight, original paint and almost rust free. The bed floor has surface rust but no rust thru. Tailgate isn't great but way better than what I had. I got a chrome sport bumper from the same truck too.
