67/68 park lens question

Hello all,

Going through the inventory, I have found a set of clear park lenses for the 67/68 trucks. My first thought was aftermarket but these are guide lenses with "GUIDE 1T SAE IP 67"

Anyone have an idea of exact application?

Thank you in advance,
Thomas

I have never seen any clear ones for the '67 pickups.

Go here and scroll down to the '73-'81 park light lenses:

Nobody said anything about side markers. He was asking about park light lenses.

Re: 67/68 park lens question

What size are they ? Those look very close to the clear ('70 only) park lenses on my '70 Nova.
But I realize they have '67 on them ,perhaps '67 Chevy ll ?

If they used the same mold for the later lenses they didn't change the year designation on them.

Re: 67/68 park lens question

Went out and checked the ole'Novdogs park lens it is clear guide '70. I put an old amber '67 truck lens up to it and the truck lens was about an inch longer width about the same

Re: 67/68 park lens question

I think Livrat nailed it down. I'm sure the reman people got their hands on an OE mold. These lenses were made until recently "early 2000's?",on the big stepvans.

Re: 67/68 park lens question

Livrat did nail it.. These are direct fit replacements for a 67/68 pick up. I am sure they may fit other applications but identical to the amber 67/68 pick up lens. Pretty sure they did not use clear on the pick ups from the factory in 67/68 (C10-C30)

Thanks for the input,

Thomas

Re: 67/68 park lens question

Just so I am clear moving forward, I know what year and I know that they did not use clear on 67/68 C10-C20 pickups or C30 cab/chassis trucks. What I am not sure about is if the clear version of this lens was for C40-C60's or if it was (As Livrat posted) just an aftermarket version of the amber with "guide" stamped on it.

This is a 67/68 Chevy truck lens. My question is what series used clear lenses if any.

I questioned the aftermarket because these are spot on perfect examples of an OE lens, just clear.

Sorry for any confusion.

Thomas

Re: 67/68 park lens question

I think the pickups are side specific and the bigger trucks are the same side to side. Do these have a R or L on them?
